Account Information

If you create a SmartVoyage account, we may collect your email address, account identifier, authentication information, and basic information provided by Google when you use Google Sign-In. We only request the information necessary to create and authenticate your SmartVoyage account. SmartVoyage does not access or read your Gmail messages.

Trip and Itinerary Information

When you create or save an itinerary, we may store information such as destination, travel dates, trip duration, travel preferences, budget preferences, activities and places included in the itinerary, and itinerary edits or regenerated versions.

We use your information to create personalized travel itineraries, save your itineraries, allow you to edit and regenerate itineraries, provide weather information related to your trip, generate PDF itineraries, provide account and authentication services, provide itinerary sharing features when you choose to use them, maintain and improve SmartVoyage, protect the service against fraud, abuse, and security threats, and provide customer support. We do not sell your personal information.

SmartVoyage uses artificial intelligence to generate and personalize travel itineraries. Information necessary to generate or regenerate an itinerary may be processed by our AI service providers. We use information necessary to provide the requested functionality and do not intentionally provide unnecessary personal information to AI providers.

You may create or access your SmartVoyage account using Google Sign-In. When you use Google Sign-In, SmartVoyage may receive basic account information such as your email address and account identifier for authentication. SmartVoyage does not request access to your Gmail messages, Google Drive, contacts, or other Google services unless a future feature specifically requires such access and you explicitly authorize it.

Registered users may save itineraries to their SmartVoyage account. Saved itineraries are private by default. If you choose to share an itinerary, SmartVoyage may create a shareable link that allows other people to view the shared itinerary. You are responsible for deciding whether to share an itinerary and with whom.

We may collect limited technical and usage information to operate, secure, and improve SmartVoyage. This may include:

• Pages visited
• Browser and device information
• Approximate geographic information
• Referral information
• Usage events
• Technical information about website performance

Where required by applicable law, we will obtain consent before using non-essential cookies or tracking technologies.

SmartVoyage may use cookies and similar technologies for authentication, maintaining user sessions, security, user preferences, and analytics. You may control cookies through your browser and, where applicable, SmartVoyage's cookie controls.

SmartVoyage relies on third-party providers to operate certain parts of the service. These providers may include services for authentication, cloud and database infrastructure, AI processing, weather information, analytics, and website security and performance. These providers may process information on our behalf when necessary to provide their services. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

We retain your account and itinerary information for as long as necessary to provide SmartVoyage and maintain your account. If you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal information and saved itineraries within a reasonable period, except where information must be retained to comply with legal obligations or for legitimate security or legal purposes.

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect your information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure. However, no internet service can guarantee complete security.

Some SmartVoyage service providers may process or store information in countries outside your country of residence. Where applicable, appropriate safeguards will be used for international transfers of personal information.

Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights to:

• Correct inaccurate information
• Request deletion of your information
• Request restriction of certain processing
• Object to certain processing
• Request a copy of your information
• Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent

For users protected by the GDPR, applicable rights may include access, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability, and objection.

You may request deletion of your SmartVoyage account and associated personal information. To request deletion, contact us at hello@smartvoyage.app. We may need to verify your identity before processing a deletion request.

SmartVoyage is not intended for children under 13 years old. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 in violation of applicable law. If you believe that a child has provided personal information to SmartVoyage, please contact us at hello@smartvoyage.app.

We may update this Privacy Policy when SmartVoyage's features, services, or applicable legal requirements change. Where appropriate, we may provide notice of significant changes through the SmartVoyage website or other reasonable means.
